How to customize mini pc?
Demand Confirmation
- Logo customization: Please provide the detailed size of your logo icon and attach the source file. We will provide you with free proofs according to the information you provided to ensure the accurate presentation of the logo.
- System: Please confirm the required operating system, currently we only support Windows 10 and Windows 11, do not support Windows 7 and Black Apple system.
Color customization: For different models of mini PC, the color customization requirements are as follows: - Mini7: Only silver color is available;
- Mini5: The starting quantity is 300 units, available colors include rose gold, white moon silver, starry sky black. There are enough colors in stock to meet different MOQ requirements.
Create and confirm design sketches
- Design sketch: Our designers will draw the preliminary design sketch of the mini PC according to your needs, including the appearance of the outline, logo placement, color matching, etc.
- Design review: After the design sketch is completed, we will show you the design sketch and collect your feedback via email or online meeting.
- Design revision: Based on your feedback, we will revise the design sketch until you are fully satisfied.
- Final confirmation: After the design has been corrected, we will create a final design and send it to you again for confirmation. You need to review and sign to confirm the design drawings to ensure that the subsequent production process is error-free.

Workshop Layout

Raw material storage area:
Location: near the entrance of the workshop, close to the bonder area.

Patch and assembly area:
Location: the central area of the workshop, closest to the raw material storage area.
Function: Mainly for SMT placement, soldering and plug-in assembly operations. This area is equipped with high-speed placement machines, reflow ovens, wave soldering machines and other equipment to ensure high efficiency and precision of production.
Inspection area:
Location: adjacent to the assembly area, convenient for PCB boards flowing directly from the production line to enter the inspection process.
Function: Includes AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) equipment, ICT (In-Circuit Testing) equipment, functional testing equipment, etc., for comprehensive quality inspection of products.
Packaging area:
Location: near the exit of the workshop, downstream of the inspection area.
Function: anti-static and protective packaging of PCB boards that have been tested and qualified, as well as labeling and information recording. The packaged products directly enter the finished product warehouse or shipping area.
Finished goods warehouse:
LOCATION: Outside the shop exit, connected to the shipping area.
Function: Storage of packaged finished goods awaiting shipment.
Workshop size
- Total area: the total area of the workshop is about 5,000 square meters, and the whole workshop is designed with simple and smooth production line layout.
- Number of production lines: There are 4 fully automatic SMT production lines in the workshop, each of which includes solder paste printing machine, placement machine, reflow soldering oven and other major equipment, which can meet the demand of mass production.
- Individual production line capacity: The capacity of each production line is approximately 50,000 components per hour, depending on the complexity of the product and the type of components.
SMT process
Assembly
After the SMT process is completed, we will assemble the PCB board. The assembly process includes the following key aspects:
Plug-in assembly: some components that can not be mounted by SMT (such as large-size capacitors, inductors, connectors, etc.) are installed on the PCB manually or through automatic plug-in machines.
Wave soldering: For plug-in components, we use wave soldering process to make the components reliably connected to the pads on the PCB.
Handled by 7 automated production lines
Solder Paste Printing: Evenly applying solder paste to the PCB’s pad locations, which is the basis for components to be able to be firmly soldered.
SMD: Using high-speed, high-precision mounter to accurately place components such as resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc. in the designated locations on the PCB.
Reflow Soldering: Pass the PCB with components pasted on it through the reflow oven to melt the solder paste at a high temperature, so that the components can be firmly soldered to the PCB.
Testing
In order to ensure the quality of our products, we conduct strict tests on each PCB, including:
AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection): Check the correctness of the soldering points and components to ensure that there are no problems such as false soldering and leakage.
Functional Test: Plug the PCB into the test system to verify its electrical performance and function to ensure that it meets the design requirements.
Packaging
PCBs that pass the test undergo a final packaging process to ensure that the product is not damaged during transportation and storage. The packaging process includes:Anti-static packaging: use anti-static bags to package PCBs to prevent static electricity from damaging components.
Protective Packaging: Foam, bubble wrap and other protective materials are provided for each PCB to prevent physical impact during transportation.
Labeling and Traceability System: Each package is labeled with a label containing product number, batch number and other information for subsequent traceability and quality management.
CNC Detail
The first step in the production of our mini mainframe housings is to choose the right aluminum alloy material. Aluminum alloy is very suitable for the manufacturing of electronic product shells due to its lightweight, durable, good thermal conductivity and easy processing.
1. Mold design and production
After material selection, the next step is mold design and production. According to the product’s appearance design and functional requirements, we will use CAD software to carry out accurate 3D modeling and design a mold that meets the requirements.
Mold design: According to the structural characteristics of the mini host shell, we carry out fine mold design to ensure the perfect presentation of each detail.
Mold production: Use high precision CNC equipment to process the mold to ensure the consistency and precision of the shell in the subsequent production.
2. CNC Processing
After the mold production is completed, we enter the CNC processing stage. CNC processing is the core of the whole production process, involving a series of operations such as cutting, drilling and grinding of aluminum alloy materials. Milling: using high-precision CNC milling machine, according to the designed program, the aluminum alloy material is cut and engraved to form the basic shape of the shell and all the details.
Drilling and cutting: According to the design requirements of the host shell, accurate drilling and cutting is done to ensure that the position and size of each interface and mounting holes are in full compliance with the design specifications.
Fine grinding: after CNC machining, the surface of the shell is finely polished to remove burrs and ensure that the surface of the shell is smooth and flawless.
3. Surface treatment: anodizing
After CNC machining, the enclosure needs a surface treatment to enhance its abrasion and corrosion resistance, as well as to give it a unique appearance. We usually use anodic oxidation process, which is the formation of a dense oxide film on the surface of aluminum alloy through electrolytic reaction.
Pre-treatment: Prior to anodizing, the enclosure is degreased, cleaned and chemically polished to ensure that the surface is free of oils, impurities and oxidized layers.
Anodizing: The enclosure is immersed in an acidic electrolyte and an electric current is applied to form an oxide film on the aluminum surface. We can adjust the thickness and color of the oxide layer by controlling the oxidation time and current.
Dyeing and sealing: According to customer’s requirements, the shell can be dyed to give it a specific color. Finally, the sealing treatment makes the oxide layer stronger and improves its corrosion resistance.
4. Quality inspection and packaging
After completing all processing and surface treatment, we will carry out strict quality inspection on the mini host shell to ensure that each product meets the high standard of quality requirements.
Appearance Inspection: Check the surface of the shell for scratches, color difference and other appearance defects.
Dimension Inspection: Use high-precision measuring tools to confirm whether the size and hole position of each shell are consistent with the design drawings.
Packaging: The tested and qualified enclosures will be protected and packaged using anti-static bags and cushioning materials to ensure that they will not be damaged during transportation.
